Why this pianist and singer?
The singing pianist Honza Jares has graduated in popular music at the Prague Conservatory as the first blind student in the school's history. The singer blessed with an extraordinery voice, conducts himself comfortably on the piano. His performances amaze us with intense enjoyment and perfect mastery of his craft.
As a singing pianist Jan offers a unique and precise, still very entartaining performances and experience to the audience.
In an intimate environment Jan´s performance is discreet and calm, naturally enhancing the atmosphere of a wedding celebration and premium restaurant. On the other hand, during a party Jan can contribute to a lively ambience. He´s able to present himself in fine English and usually gets a very good feedback from the audience.
His reportoire ranges from the songs of Louis Armstrong, Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Kenny Rogers, Bruce Springsteen, Phil Collins, Chris Rea to Elton John or Leonard Cohen and many others. Jan is also often used to a „piano only“ mode, where apart from pop tunes his repertoire includes jazz as well.
Honza has been playing for audience for many years. His experience range from performances in fine Prague hotels, such as Hilton Prague Hotel, The Mark Hotel and famous Mlynec Restaurant. He regularly plays concerts in Czech Spa Towns - Carlsbad, Franzbad , Jachymov Spa etc. He also performs at private parties and charity events.
Honza plays piano or Stage Piano Nord in solo programme or is accompanied by leading Czech instrumentalists playing double-bass, bass guiitar, drums or saxophone - as Duo or Trio.
His practical assistance is always taken care of.
