Roudnice Chateau

Why this chateau?
The historic and grand Roudnice chateau is situated 50 minutes north of Prague on the banks of the scenic Elbe River. The recently renovated 17th Century chapel with its ornate ceiling frescoes is the perfect setting for your romantic wedding ceremony.

The chateau was originally a 3-wing, U-shaped structure facing the Elbe river with its open towards the town of Roudnice. The open end was finally closed in by a connecting section, featuring the entrance gate and a massive tower with a lantern. The inner courtyard is in a rectangular shape.

Chateau Baroque Chapel
- The Chateau chapel is the most beautiful room at the Roudnice castle. The chapel represents the Baroque era with stucco decoration and magnificent frescoes by Giacomo Tencalla (1644-1692) and is the ideal place for concerts, cocktail parties, receptions or wedding ceremonies. Capacity: 170 guests.

Foyer of the chapel
- This space is located in front of the entrance to the Chateau chapel and serves as a cash desk, where all tours begin. The room can be used for smaller receptions, cocktail parties or corporate presentations. Capacity: 30 guests.

Chateau courtyard
- The rectangular courtyard with its beautiful fountain is a great place for outdoor cocktails, parties or any organization of events and festivals. Capacity: 3000 guests.
